Newsom Recall Election

As September 14th inches closer the time to vote in the gubernatorial recall election is shrinking

This election will determine who will be in the highest office in our state for the next two years.

There are only two questions presented to voters:

1) a simple yes or no question on whether or not Newsom should be recalled.

2) if Newsom is to be recalled, who should replace him.

for more information see:

A Simple Guide and FAQ

Most CA voters should have had their mail in ballots delivered to them, but the polls are also open on September 14th! Unfortunately, the deadline to register for this election has already passed.

Lastly, if you want to learn more about the context behind the recall, and what various candidates are seeking to replace Newsom:

A new report from the Indigenous Environmental Network and Oil Change International finds that Indigenous resistance has stopped or delayed greenhouse gas pollution equivalent to at least one-quarter of annual U.S. and Canadian emissions.

The report highlights and analyzes 26 Indigenous frontline struggles in the past decade against a variety of fossil fuel projects across Turtle Island over all stages of the fossil fuel development chain
